FARMA TROMPETAS, was established in 1990 at Megara, Greece solely for the manufacturing of rabbit meat. The farm has now developed into one of the largest rabbit meat producers within Greece.

Company focus on exports with retail and ho.re.ca. products from 100% rabbit meat: rabbit sausages ,  rabbit fillet, rabbit burgers ,rabbit chops.

The farm's products can be found at central butchers, delicatessens, select markets, restaurants, hotels. FARMA TROMPETAS, has the necessary know-how and experience needed, as well as the possibility of vertical meat production, ensuring high quality during each stage.

The farm's aims and objectives are:

• High-quality fresh rabbit meat
• To inform of this highly nutritious meat to Greek households and to innovative delicatessens throughout the world.
• Inspire housewives and bachelors to quickly and easily prepare and savor new rabbit recipes, apart from rabbit stew, with their loved ones.
• Teaching of technical know-how and experience to those interested in establishing their own rabbit farm.

While aiming for a high quality vertical rabbit meat production, the facility also continuously upgrades its services with new professional cooperations. Consistent collaboration with firms abroad knowledgeable in rabbit breeding know-how, developed and improved the quality and production of such a very healthy meat. Thereby, the farm cooperates with:

• Italian genetic improvement firms since 1992. These cooperations earned them the know-how shared with cooperating producers in Greece.
• The Italian equivalent of the CIA manufacturers of rabbit breeding equipment since 1999.
• The French Eurolap Hyla suppliers of breeding materials since 2007.
• The Italian Sun Company suppliers of rabbit feed since 2008.

Activities FARMA TROMPETAS operates in the fields of:

• The production of fresh or freshly frozen rabbit meat at our modern rabbit breeding farm in Nea Dafni, Megara with a capacity of 2,000 places for rabbit mothers.
• The sale of rabbit meat using the farm's vehicles providing to select markets, delicatessens, butchers, hotels, restaurants, etc.
• The sale of its products in Greece and abroad, fulfilling all specifications, certificates and tests.
• The sale of rabbit breeding equipment.
• The sale of male and breeding rabbits.
• Designing of units.
• Hutches for rabbit mothers, fattening rabbits and males with all the relative components needed, as in troughs, waterers, fittings for automated feeding systems, burrow nests, partitions, etc.
• Stool removal system.
• An assortment of rabbit breeding equipment, as in feed transporters, rabbit mother transporters, water pipes, blowtorches, etc.
• Storage feed silo, compartment cooling system, etc.
